Residency
Our program offers rigorous balanced training in anatomic and clinical pathology within a large thriving academic medical center. The faculty members of the department are enthusiastic teachers committed to postgraduate pathology education. The goal of our program is to provide a supportive and congenial atmosphere in which our residents can develop to their full potential and find their niche in the diverse field of pathology.
Fellowship
As a Postdoctoral Scholar at Case Western Reserve University, you are an important member of the University team that includes staff, faculty, researchers, and administrators who are dedicated to achieving excellence in teaching scholarship and research. Your mentored training (employment) experience will be a positive one as you take the time to become familiar with the University's policies and procedures for Postdoctoral Scholars and realize your shared responsibility in the University's commitment to excellence.
Graduate Program
The Case Department of Pathology provides extensive opportunities for graduate training in Experimental Pathology, Immunology and Cancer Biology leading to the PhD (or MD/PhD) degree. A separate program leads to the MS degree. Teaching faculty are based in the Case Department of Pathology and other basic science and clinical departments at Case and Case-affiliated hospitals (University Hospitals of Cleveland, Cleveland Clinic Foundation, MetroHealth Medical Center and the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center.
